One Tree Project has partnered with Voice of the City for their Origin Woods project in Chicago as a fiscal sponsor and consultant. The project seeks to transform a once-vacant site into a thriving ecological and cultural landmark. Anchored by the belief that trees connect people to the land, the collaboration emphasizes both environmental stewardship and community well-being.
The planning process will be guided by renowned Chicago-based landscape architecture and urban design firm SITE Design Group, Ltd., known for its expertise in shaping equitable, sustainable, and resilient urban green spaces. The master plan will include opportunities for local residents to engage with Nature, learn from environmental programming, and reconnect with the land through art, education, and community-driven stewardship.
